At Home with FeGH

We rarely republish images of interiors in particular people’s homes, as once you have read Apartamento it feels utterly pointless. The thick biannual magazine captures the warmth of so many homes that are more importantly owned by charming and often self-effacing individuals that to replicate it online devalues it. The website that draws the best parallel with this marriage of interiors and journalism is probably Freunde von Freunden and today thanks to Twitter I feel compelled to share the house of Frederick Ernestine Grasser Herme with you. Oh, and watch the video too – like R Kelly said, age ain’t nothing but a number (what you’re old enough that is).

This mix of colour and whimsy through the furniture and lamps (how awesome is her counter?) makes for such a fun house that still looks uncluttered. Check out the purple border – daaang.
