The shows, dahling. The shows. From the time I managed to blag my way into a couple catwalk shows as a Fashion student to watching the More4 McQueen documentary, it remained resolutely clear that there was power in stationery. More specifically stickers. There was something really lovely about Lee McQueen’s old Soho cohorts reminiscing about their time with him and how they had a white sticker on each of their funeral invitations. In short, they were VIP and all the exemplars of glamour, fashion and sophistication were not. Here’s a look at some of our favourites from the Fashion Weeks for AW11. Lots of lace, leather, patterns, orange and lordy was there love for shoulders.
