The film I’ve been going on about, Somewhere, has finally been released. But fickle like a palm-reading cellophane fish a guaranteed laugh was desired last night, not reflective thought. All hail Due Date and Robert Downey Jr. it was a definitively fun film and I should say from the makers of The Hangover, which you need to see. Seriously, it was the hit of last year’s Boxing Day in our household. Perhaps to prove I’m not all Art House chat we will see the effervescent pastels of Coppola’s camera this weekend. If not, there’s always Burlesque with Cher.

Watching Downey Jr. reminded of my make believe list. No, it’s not that list, it’s one comprised of slightly older actors who have an intriguing back log of films that they manage to ace: Sam Rockwell, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and the legend Bill Murray. Who would you add?
