It all started with this image on Garance Dore’s blog.

And in my usual skim-reading style I ignored that the picture actually states that this is Carolina (Prada, niece of Miuccia), and focused on the photographer who captured her in Tank Magazine, Manuela Pavesi. But by jove, and this is the internet at it’s best, am I am happy to have discovered this lady’s work in super quick time.

As you’ve no doubt grasped, her style is so wonderfully varied, best captured for me by the shoot Future Perfect with Kate Moss in glam 70s mode rather than in full nineties grunge. But the real indicator of her versatility is that you would be hard pressed to guess the date these shoots took place. Have a look see…

There’s little information on Pavesi, a one-time fashion editor for Vogue Italia she became a photographer and now is a Prada’s fashion co-ordinator. Full circle, eh?
